Most Wanted: Hunt is on for Mass. violators

One has a 10-page record of criminal offenses. Another is accused of rape of a child.

And yet another is wanted for home invasion.

The men are some of the “Most Wanted” state probationers and are featured on a list released yesterday by the Probation Service department.

It’s the first time the agency has issued a statewide “Most Wanted” list as it tries to track down the violent offenders. The agency is asking for the public’s help in finding these absconders.

Authorities are searching for the probationers because they have not shown up for court hearings or have not been in contact with probation officers.

“Those offenders who receive an opportunity to serve a sentence in the community through probation must understand that they will be held fully accountable for their actions. In cases where they disregard the conditions of probation, we will use all the means available to us to bring them to justice,” said Probation Commissioner Ronald P. Corbett Jr.
