MTA runs first test trains on Second Avenue Subway line

Whileit’s still unclearwhether or not theSecond Avenue Subwaywill meet its December opening date, it does look like therails themselves are just about ready to take on riders. Over the weekend, Youtube userDj Hammersspotted the agency running trains past theLexington Avenue-63rd Street station (where a public area has already opened), testingoutthe third rail, signals and track.
