MONTREAL – CGI Group Inc. (TSX:GIB.A) has received a five-year contract extension worth $350 million from National Bank of Canada (TSX:NA).
Montreal-based CGI will continue to provide the bank with computer and information technology support.
CGI has been providing National Bank with application development and support services for 11 years now.
The companies’ joint announcement Monday didn’t disclose details of the new agreement.
“We are renewing our contract with this strategic Quebec partner because of the value of CGI’s services and its knowledge of the banking industry,” National Bank president and CEO Louis Vachon said in a statement.
