After the Cavaliers got waxed by the Warriors this week, the Cleveland front office may actually begin thinking aboutshaking things up for the sake of shaking things up.

Chris Haynes, of Cleveland.com, reported earlier this month that “there is no connection right now between [Suns forward Markieff] Morris and the defending Eastern Conference champions.” Haynes continued: “I’m told the organization isn’t too keen with the idea, fearing the team chemistry would be ruined.”

But its hard to understate just how soul-crushing Monday’s 132-98 home loss to the Warriors was. It’s blatantly clear that the Cavs, even when healthy, aren’t on Golden State’s level. There needs to be some tinkering done before the Feb. 18 trade deadline for sure. Morris is one of the top names on the market, and the Cavs’ front office may soon be shifting its thinking.

Meanwhile, Sacramento is eyeing Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson, according to Sheridan Hoops, and is willing to give up Rudy Gay.

The Clippers may be poking around regarding Gay as it has beensaid that Lance Stephenson, C.J. Wilcox and Josh Smith are on the market. A Gay for Stephenson-Wilcox-Smith trade is successful,money-wise, according to ESPN’s Trade Machine.

Gay signed a three-year, $40 million extension with the Kings just last year.
