The basketball world has been on fire ever since Cleveland Cavaliers star point guard Kyrie Irving requested a trade from the defending Eastern Conference champions.
While it is not guaranteed that a deal will actually happen, the 25-year-old gave the Cavs his four preferred landing spots should he be shipped out of town, giving Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks fans hope that they might acquire Irving.
In a day and age where you can bet on everything and everything, Las Vegas has already broken down the odds of which team Irving will be playing with come opening night of the 2017-18 season.

While the odds say one thing, the market might suggest something else entirely. It’s unlikely that Carmelo Anthony will waive his no-trade clause to go to an Irving-less Cavaliers team and he — alongside a few draft picks — would likely be the most the Knicks would offer for Irving.
Should the Cavaliers ask for Kristaps Porzingis and only Kristaps Porzingis, Knicks fans can kiss any chance of getting the star guard goodbye.
