New Jersey Regulators have sanctioned betting on the Academy Awards. This will be the first time The Oscars will have legal bets placed on it according to Legal Sports News. Even though Nevada has had legal gambling for years, betting on the Oscars has never taken place there. Sportsbooks have yet to post lines on the Oscars although VSIN has catagories and odds up.
