Michael Juskin, 100, became one of the oldest people accused of homicide when he took his wife's life by axe and his own by knife on Sunday, reports The Record.
He and his wife Rosalia resided in Elmwood Park, a New Jersey suburb about 20 miles away from New York City. Family members say Michael suffered from dementia.
Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli tweeted on Monday, "Appears Mr Juskin took Mrs Juskin life while she slept then took his own in bathroom. Axe used on mrs Juskin. Knife to Mr Juskin."
