Scammers who promised to help an elderly woman find an apartment stole thousands of dollars from the unsuspecting victim, cops said.

After the con artists — two women and a man— said they would help her find a home — the82-year-oldwas then taken to anHSBC Bank at700 Park Place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn at about 12 p.m. on Oct. 25., police said.

Once there, shewithdrew $10,000 from her bank account and handed it over to one of the women, who was captured in a photo released by police. The persons of interest then left with the money.
