Apparently, Rutgers head football coach Chris Ash lives in Billy Madison’s house.

On Thursday, the Scarlet Knights congregated at the first-year head coach’s house for a team BBQ and a bit of down time as a team. With training camp just 11 days away as of Friday, Ash wanted to use the time to build a little chemistry ahead of what might be a tough Big Ten season for Rutgers.

And if snippits of the BBQ made available via social media are any indication, Ash’s house in central Jersey is apparently dope. It might just be cooler than the house in the movie Billy Madison.

This, of course, is the mansion from that movie:http://www.priceypads.com/the-real-life-billy-madison-mansion/

There is a pool, a basketball court, a hot tub and enough lawn to play a massive game of bean bag toss (or cornhole to the more bawdy brethren out there).

Ash comes to Rutgers following a successful time as defensive coordinator at Ohio State. He was responsible for the development of such players as New York Giants cornerback Eli Apple and New York Jets linebacker Darron Lee. Both players were first round picks in April’s NFL Draft.

Looks like a fun and relaxing time, likely much-needed, was had by all. Sadly our invitation got lost in the mail. Maybe next time.
