Police arrested a 20-year-old woman on Tuesday and are looking for three men in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old Bronx man found fatally shot in his bedroom.
Kayla Moreno, 3000 Bronx Park East, has been charged with second-degree murder, two counts of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, an NYPD spokesman confirmed.
Authorities said that 19-year-old Jose Hart was found with several gunshot wounds to his torso in his bedroom at 1058 Southern Boulevard in Foxhurst. Hart was pronounced dead at the scene and the investigation is ongoing, NYPD said.
Three men are being sought after Moreno and the men were seen on surveillance video entering Hart's building.
Morenoallegedly let the three men in after leaving Hart’s apartment unlocked. One man walked out wearing Hart’s coat and carrying an LCD TV,New York Daily News reported. A second man reportedly was seen putting a silver semiautomatic handgun in his pocket.
Two .9mm casings were found at the scene and two of the three men have been identified, Daily News reported.
Hart’s mother recently won a $50,000 settlement in a lawsuit against a motorist who hit her with his car, according to reports.
