A suspect who cops were escorting to Manhattan Central Booking broke free after assaulting one of the officers in Harlem, the NYPD said early Wednesday.

The suspect, Tareek Arnold, 23, was being taken in for suspicion of attempted murder.

Arnold has distinctive tatoos, the NYPD said: One says “Troll” and another, “Militant Soldiers.”

The escape in the 32 precinct happened at 7:20 p.m., cops said, and Arnold was last seen at West 134 Street and 8th Avenue.

He is described by cops as having “brown eyes, black hair. He was last seen wearing gray sneakers, a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and a grey hooded sweatshirt.”
