A baby was killed in Queens Friday morning after a van struck the 8-month-old child, police said.
The Ford van was reversing out of a driveway when it hit the baby who was being pushed in a stroller by his 35-year-old mother at the time, according to authorities.
The incident happened just after 10 a.m. on Astoria Boulevard near 93rd Street in East Elmhurst.
Navraj Raju was taken to Elmhurst hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver, who remained at the scene, was taken into custody and faces a charge of driving without a license, reports said.
