Cops early Friday arrested a 73-year-old Bronx man who crashed into a Pelham Bay eatery and then sped off after killing a 7-year-old boy and injuring his dad and baby sister.


The hit-and-run fatality happened on Westchester Avenue at the Kennedy's Chicken and Sandwiches restaurant Thursday at 5:30 p.m.


Officers from the 45 precinct report that a Mercedes Benz SUV driven by Kwasi Oduro was thrown into reverse and smashed through the front window of the restaurant, hitting a 34-year-old man, his 5-year-old daughter, and 7-year-old son who were all sitting together.


Father and daughter are in stable condition at Jacobi but 7-year-old Ethan Villavicencio suffered fatal injuries to his body, officials said.


Witnesses reportedly said they thought the elderly man was trying to park. He was arrested several blocks away from the scene.


The charges against Oduro are three counts or Leaving the Scene of an Accident - one that resulted in death and the two others, injuries.
