A late night soccer match in Brooklyn turned cutthroat after midnight Sunday, resulting in one death and one man critically injured, police said.

Shortly after the game ended, police were called to the scene at Beginning with Children Charter School 2 in Williamsburg where they found Delvin Martinez, 31, stabbed to death in the neck and torso, the New York Daily News reported.

Martinez’s 29-year-old brother, whom police have not named, was also stabbed in the neck, body and body and discovered in critical condition near the Williamsburg Armory.

The victims were taken to Woodhull Hospital where Martinez was pronounced dead and the brother continues to be treated for his life-threatening wounds.

Police said the brothers had been playing soccer but are uncertain why they were attacked and no arrests have been made.
