Once at the scene, however, officers found Barry Mamadou unconscious and bleeding from a gunshot to his head in the front seat of his Lincoln town livery cab.

Paramedics arrived at the location, but declared Mamadou, 39, dead soon after.

The New York Post reported that the shooter may have been a customer Mamadou picked up earlier in the night.

No arrests have been made, the NYPD said.

Last Thursday, police reported cabbie Rafael Veras, 35, was stabbed to death in East New York. No arrests have been made in Veras’ death.
