The NYPD Emergency Service Unit A-Team discovered some pretty unexpected creatures Tuesday morning in Brooklyn.
Some exotic animals were found living at a private residencein the 81st precinct in Bedford-Stuyvesant. At about 8 a.m., NYPD Special Ops tweeted:

After being informed that the tenant in an apartment at 1845 Atlantic Ave. was illegally housing a caiman alligator and nine snakes the NYPD obtained a search warrant and uncovered the reptiles, authorities said.

The alligator, about 3 feet long, and the snakes were confiscated and taken to the Bronx Zoo.
