Christie Brinkley selling Hamptons estate for $29.5M

Supermodel Christie Brinkley is selling the Bridgehampton home she’s owned for 18 years.

The family compound sits on more than 20 acres with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Connecticut shore.

The main house has 4 bedrooms and 5 baths, and sits on a base of 475 tons of local rock. The architecturaldetail that really stand out, however, is the 50-foot observation tower. Luxury details include an oversized country kitchen, double-height great room, three fireplaces, and gym.

The property also contains a 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath guest house with a greenhouse conservatory, and a separate barn/artist studio with living quarters, and a 4-car heated garage.

Outside, the land is described as “park-like” with winding walking paths, multi-level stone terraces, private pond, hidden tennis court and oversized heated pool with spa.

According to Curbed,this isn’t the first time that Brinkley has tried to unload her massive East Hamptons home.

But this time she may truly be looking to downsize.

Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman has just brought Brinkley’s property to market, and according to the agency, the mother to Alexa Ray Joel, Jack Brinkley-Cook and Sailor Brinkley-Cook is about be an empty nester as her youngest heads to college in the fall.

Brinkley has decided to sell the “Tower Hill” estate and move to one of her other waterfront properties in Sag Harbor.
