Mets pitcher Matt Harvey was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday due to right shoulder discomfort. There were plenty of well-wishes for Harvey on social media, but given Harvey’s injury history and his alleged enjoyment of adult beverages (a caller on WFAN once accused Harvey of being an alcoholic because he owns too many shoes)many were skeptical that Harvey would return to the Mets this season and be productive.
