Dead man, 19, found floating in Prospect Park Lake

The corpse of a 19-year-old was found floating in a lake in Brooklyn on Wednesday, police said.

Police found the teen floating at 1:20 p.m. in Prospect Park Lake, near Wellhouse and West drives, investigators said. The man, whose identity has yet to be released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An NYPD spokesman told Metro the body was fully clothed. An NYPD spokeswoman told Patch there were”no apparent signs of trauma to the body.”

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation is ongoing.
