Commuters on New Jersey Transit, Long Island Railroad and Amtrak should settle in for a long ride to and from Penn Station Wednesday morning.
According to the Metropolitan Transit Authority, there is a rail condition in an East River tunnel. Travelers should consider alternate routes and delays of at least 30 minutes are expected.
NBC 4 reported that there is a broken rail in the tunnel.
