Duo sought for striking man in the head during Bronx robbery: Police

Duo sought for striking man in the head during Bronx robbery: Police

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted for allegedly attacking a 64-year-old man during a robbery in the Bronx last month.

On March 31 at about 11:35 a.m. the victim was entering a building near Metropolitan Avenue when the two suspects approached him and hit him in the head with an unknown object, according to police. The men then took the victim’s bad and fled, police said.

The attack caused the victim to suffer bleeding and laceration, cops said, and he was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he was treated and released.

Police describe the suspects as two black men with medium complexions. One of the men was last seen wearing white sneakers and a multicolored jacket.
