Eat for free at this Never Ending Table on the High Line

The infinite food specialists atOlive Garden knew the table was the only thing holding them back — so they’re building a bigger one.

The home of never-ending specials is bringing a Never Ending Family Tableto the High Line on June 2. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a 500-seat table will stretch the park beginning at 16th Street; anyone is welcome to have a seat to try sample-sized versions of the Italian-style chain’s newest menu items (and breadsticks, ofc).

What’s coming to your insatiable gullet?Last summer’sBreadstick Sandwiches have expanded to two new flavors(spicy Calabrian chicken and eggplant Parmigiana) and the comfort food fever dream that isDeep Dish Spaghetti Pieinmeatball, chicken Alfredo and chicken & bacon with tomato-infused pastavarieties.

The table will also be popping up at birthday parties, cookouts and reunions over the summer — summon it by submitting a story about what brings your family together for a meal. Our answer has more to do with Italy’s second best-known export, but maybe yours involves pasta.
