Dr. Craig Spencer, who has been treated for Ebola at New York City’s Bellevue Hospital since Oct. 23, is set to be released on Tuesday.

Spencer, 33, treated Ebola patients in Guinea, and started showing symptoms after he returned to New York. Health department officials said Monday he is virus-free and not a public health risk.

City officials will speak about Spencer’s release on Tuesday morning, and the doctor is expected to make a statement.
