There are three home games left for Jets fans to voice their displeasure over a 1-7 season that will mark a fourth straight season without the playoffs. And now, there are three billboards placed in prime New Jersey locations to do the same exact thing.

Metro New York reported on Sunday that FireJohnIdzik.com had reached its stated goal of raising $10,000 to purchase a billboard near MetLife Stadium to promote their stated purpose of seeing general manager John Idzik fired. Now they've secured not only a location near the stadium for the static billboard message, but also two digital billboards nearby.

According to the four founders of the FireJohnIdzik.com website, there will be one static billboard right on Route 80 at exit 65 in New Jersey, just a few minutes away from the Meadowlands. The static billboard will be up in time for the Jets' final two home games and will come down in mid-January. There will also be two digital billboards up for a similar period of time along Route 3, located within a half-mile of the stadium.

"This is not a story about a bunch of people wasting their money, as some in the media would like to portray it," said site co-founder Jason Koeppel. "This is a story about changing the face of fan activism in America. The billboards are nothing but a symbol that we rallied behind to show [owner] Woody Johnson that Jets fans now have an organized voice. This movement is not about the four creators. It is about the army of fans that we are proud to represent."

The static billboard is the key and, according to data provided by FireJohnIdzik.com, will make roughly 700,000 impressions on a weekly basis.

The website, which has been in existence only since Idzik's press conference on Oct. 27, raised the requisite $10,000 for their billboards in just under five days and claim over 1,300 followers on their Facebook page as well.

Idzik, in his second year with the Jets, received praise for last year's 8-8 team, which was constructed largely on spare parts and castoffs. But with a full war chest this year, he failed to land a big-name free agent outside of Eric Decker, and is drawing criticism for a draft record that has been spotty at best.
