Police arrested five people during the filming of a rap video tribute to Queens rapper Chinx on Friday evening, the Daily News reports.

The video tribute included rappers Busta Rhymes, French Montana and Ja Rule, according to the Daily News.

Police confirmed to Metro that five people were arrested in East New York on Friday on weapons and drugs charges.

Wendy Miranda, 30, Frank Bartlett, 35, Ronald James, 32, Ebonee Eastmond, 27, and Edward Elkins were arrested on varying charges of weapons and drug possession – ranging from possession of a .22 calibre to a .40 calibre, and possession of marijuana.

Lionel ‘Chinx’ Pickens, a rapper from Far Rockaway and part of French Montana’s Coke Boys, was shot and killed on May 17th while driving on Queens Boulevard. He was 31 years old.

The police arrived on the scene after reports from local residents who said they saw guns and drugs on the set, according to the Daily News.
