Al Hirschfeld is best known for his sketches of famous Broadway stars and shows — but his pen didn’t stop there.
From Nov. 22 to Jan. 9, you can see 25 portraits of members of the famed Algonquin Round Table (such as Tallulah Bankhead, Irving Berlin and Helen Hayes) in the lobby of the Algonquin Hotel at 59 W. 44th St.
Titled “Return of the Vicious Circle,” the collection is seen by the hotel as “guardian angels” looking over the historic property and its guests.
