Free benefit concert by Echosmith in Times Square tonight

Does your Monday need a dose of California sunshine? You know it does.

Indie pop-rock darlingsEchosmith are playing a free show tonight at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square to kick off Pinktober, the restaurant’s annual fundraiser to support breast cancer initiatives. Though the concert is freedonations are encouraged, with proceeds going benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and other local charities.

Showtime is at 8 p.m., but you’ll want to line up early to secure your spot. Until then, check out the band performing “Let’s Love” earlier this summer on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
