Fidelis Care is set to open a new community office in Jamaica, Queens on Friday and is inviting locals to join in the opening ceremony festivities.
The community office , which will be staffed by employees that speak a variety of languages, will act as a “one-stop shop” for residents of the area to learn more information about the insurance provider’s coverage. “As a mission-based organization, our goal is to ensure we deliver excellent customer service and access to quality, affordable health care,” Fidelis Care Chief Marketing Officer Pamela Hassen said in a statement. “Our new Jamaica Community Office will not only allow us to provide our members and other residents with personal one-on-one time, it will also be a central hub for neighbors to attend workshops and events with community partners.” The opening festivities, which begin at 2 PM, will include refreshments, giveaways and entertainment. The office is located at 146-01 Jamaica Avenue.
