Success, these days, is being in the business of Japanese food and superhero movies. And the pop-up dinner beginning tonight at Ippudo Westside, the two come together in a Marvel-themed bowl of ramen.
The Japanese ramen shop is distilling entertainment powerhouse Marvel into a limited edition soup, being served Feb. 25 and 26 to just 40 guests each night inside the upstairs “speakeasy” Ramen Bar hidden behind a door. The Avengers Interactive Ramen will include pork bone aged for three years as a nod to the legacy of Marvel, and organic chicken as good luck for the company to “soar” in the future, the restaurant explains on Instagram.

For those willing to overlook the fact that chickens are flightless birds, there’s also a free Ippudo-Marvel collab T-shirt in it for you, plus a drink pairing from Sake Discoveries and “other surprises.” The dinner begins at 5 p.m., no tickets or reservations accepted — so you might want to start faking that cough right about now.
