A high-speed car crash late Sunday night in Queens has left one motorist dead and two passengers in area hospitals with serious injuries.
Shortly before 11 p.m., police responded to a report of an accident on the westbound side of Grand Central Parkway at 100thStreet, authorities stated.
RELATED:Two men died after being hit by cars in Queens on Saturday At the scene, officials found that the driver, 42, and front-seat passenger, 46, both men, were unconscious. The two were taken to Elmhurst Hospital where the driver was pronounced dead and the passenger remained in critical condition, according to police. A backseat passenger, a 37-year-old woman, was injured by awake when police arrived, authorities explained. She was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
