Gunman sought in string of Subway, Dunkin’ Donuts robberies

Police are looking for a gunman they say terrorized employees at four food establishments dating back to November.

The first incident occurred on Nov. 18 at 9:54 a.m. when the suspect entered the Subway sandwich shop at 1864 86th St. in Brooklyn. He displayed a firearm and demanded cash from the register, according to cops. The 25-year-old employee complied and the suspect fled on foot with $220.

Days later on Nov. 23 at 10:54 a.m. inside another Subway shop, this one located at 135-09 Cross Bay Blvd. in Queens, the suspect entered and displayed a firearm while demanding money from the cash register, police said. The 49-year-old employee listened and the suspect fled on foot again with $483.

The suspect continued his string of robberies the next month on Dec. 19 at 7:30 a.m. inside a Subway location at 1613 Oriental Blvd. in Brooklyn. While displaying a firearm he once again asked for money from the register and after the 38-year-old employee compiled, he fled on foot with $320.

The most recent robbery occurred on Dec. 26 at 6:13 a.m. inside a Brooklyn Dunkin’ Donuts at 1775 Coney Island Ave. The suspect went into the store, displayed a firearm and demanded money from the register, according to police. The 38-year-old victim handed over $125 and the suspect then fled on foot.

Police have released a photo of the suspect from the latest robbery and describe him as a black man, standing 6 feet 2 inches and weighing between 230 to 250 pounds. He wears a black ski mask, black bubble-style vest and carries a black bag.
