Half-naked man in street charged with robbing, slashing 60-year-old woman

Police have arrested a New Jersey man for allegedly robbing and knifing a woman he met for a one-night stand then fleeing half-naked in the street.

Levan Bakradze, 37, was arrested on robbery and weapons charges following an alleged Saturday morning Sheepshead Bay robbery and knife assault, the New York Daily News reported.

Bakradze met a woman, 60, on Friday night at the Towne Cafe Bar in Brooklyn before returning with her to her Sheepshead Bay home to spend the night, the Daily News stated.

In the morning, Bakradze allegedly slashed her arm with a knife before fleeing with two of her rings, NJ.com added in a related report. He fled the scene wearing only his underwear.

Neighbors called police to report the half-naked man running through the streets, according to the Daily News, which added that authorities captured Bakradze at Knapp Street and Avenue X.

His victim was treated at Coney Island Hospital, the Daily News added.
