Hello Kitty Cafe Truck stopping at Times Square in first East Coast visit

Hello Kitty is hitting the road.

The popular cartoon character, which can be found in almost every product imaginable, also has aHello Kitty Cafe Truck — and that vehicle will be makingits first visit toNew York City this Sunday and Monday.

The truck will be parked next to the newly opened Sanrio Times Square Pop-Up shop and open to the public from10 a.m. to 8p.m. each day.

During its stop inthe city, the truck will be servingmacarons, mini cakes, Hello Kitty cookies, bow shaped water bottles and other treats that will featureunique Hello Kitty details.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck made its official debut in Los Angeles at Hello Kitty Con in October 2014 and has been making appearances at festivals and otherevents throughout the West ever since, but its New York City trip marks the vehicle’s first-ever visit tothe East Coast.
