Harlem’s version of Smorgasburgis back for the season.

Tuckedbeneath the elevated Metro Northtracks at 1590 Park Ave. (between 115th and 116th streets), Vendy Plaza is open for its third year at La Marquetaon Sundays through October from 12-6 p.m. The 17 businesses are both newcomers and past winners of the Vendy Awards, dedicated to honoring the best in NYC street food.

Speaking of which, if you have a favorite vendor (in our outside the plaza),nominations are open for the12th annualVendy Awards. Held as acook-off on Governors Island, this year’s contest will take place onSept.17 with juried awards for Best Food Truck, Rookieof the Year, Best Dessert and Best Market Vendor, plus a People’s Choice Award. Early bird tickets are on sale for $85; the next tier of tickets willjumpto $100.
