MTA subways are running on normal schedules, though there were a few hiccups to start the day on the 6 line, thanks to a signal problem at Spring Street.

The Long Island Rail Road is still operating with the reduced service that was put into effecton Thursday, running 135 rush-hour trains, nine less than normal. Delays of at least 10 minutes are expected.
