Both New York teams have been tearing up the pro-day circuit in recent days with the NFL draft now just weeks away.
The New York Jets had representatives at the Wake Forest Pro Day, a source tellsMetro New York, sending two scouts down to the ACC program along with 25 other NFL programs. In addition, Andy Davis of the Jets was at the Princeton Pro Day.
Davis is a scouting assistant for the Jets and had to be impressed with the performance of All-Ivy standout Dorian Williams, a cornerback who ran a 4.65 time in the 40 as well as 6.8 time in the three-cone drill.
The Giants also had Nick La Testa at Princeton, a scouting intern who originally worked at Rutgers in player development. Also checking in on the Ivy League champions was Kyle Newhall-Caballero of the Oakland Raiders, who works in their player personnel department.
Both the Giants and Jets sent regional scouts to the Auburn Pro Day this past weekend as well, a source said.
