On the surface, New York City may not seem like an especially evangelical city, but when you consider how fast tickets to NY Cityfest, a Christian festival, are "selling out" (the tickets are free but you must register for one online), you may be convinced otherwise. Taking place Saturday, July 11 from 4-10 p.m. in Central Park, the festival will feature evangelist Luis Palau and big name Christian singers including TobyMac, Marcos Witt, Rescate and many more.
The event is bringing together more than 1200 churches in the New York City area and over 60,000 people are expected to attend. The festival organizers have been releasing tickets in waves and they have been consistently running out. Click here to get a ticket and reserve your spot.
