French food hall Le District’s best feature, its Hudson River-adjacentoutdoor terrace, opened this week, just in time to enjoy the longest day of the year lounging on itsrows of couches andbistro chairs.Though you won’t be able to take your Le District purchases to eat on the water —the terrace will serve its own menu focusing on seafood and bar bites.

Details of both the decor and menu are still being finalized (expect a proper launchearly next month), but the ICRAVE-designed,South of France-inspired lounge looks promising as a great addition to the city’s waterfront dining options. Anextensiverosé menu is available throughout the terrace, which also has several shellfish stations. If you’re looking for something more substantial but still want to enjoy the space, part of the terrace is a wraparound patiobelonging to Beaubourg Brasserie, which is serving afull dinner menu.

Le District’s final piece, the fine dining restaurantL’Appart, is semi-open as a private event space, but regular dinner service (which is expected to betasting menu-only) has yet to begin.
