Man accused of grabbing, exposing himself to 11-year-old girl arrested

A man police believed grabbed and exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl walking to school in Brooklyn was arrested Wednesday.

Akijah Hall, 20, of Ashford Place in Brooklyn, was identified after police circulated surveillance footage of the man.

He was charged with attempted sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, public lewdness and harassment.

The girl told police that Hall grabbed her around 8:30 a.m. and that she screamed, prompting him to run away. She was not injured in the attack.

Hall’s court date was not immediately available.
