A man taken into custody in the deaths of two women in two separate New York City hotel rooms has been charged, police said.

Earlier this week investigators released a photo of Joseph Danclair, 36, in the hopes of locating him. He was wanted for questioning at the time, police said.

Cops said they found the body of43-year-old Antoinette Marin at around 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 8 inside a room at the Manhattan Broadway Hotel on West 38th Street.

Police also discovered the body of35-year-old Chrissy Bevelaqua inside the Bushwick Hotel on Bushwick Avenue on the evening of July 23.

The New York Post reported on Tuesday morning that both women were found with trauma to their necks.

According to police, Danclair has been charged with murder in the death of Marin, but they are still investigating the second case.

Danclair was also being questioned for raping two other women, reports said.
