The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to find a suspect in connection with the attempted abduction of an 11-year-old boy in the Bronx Tuesday.
Police said the boy was approached by a man he didn’t know just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night near West 162 Street and Jerome Avenue. He then started to pick up the boy and try to place him in a black car, but a member of the boy’s family was able to intervene. The man was described as a white male, about 30 years old, about 190 pounds, wearing black dress shoes, a dark sweater and a button-down shirt underneath.
