Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 58-year-old man found dead inside a Bronx apartment early Tuesday morning.
On April 19 at about 1:03 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 2724 University Ave., according to authorities.

Emergency personnel took the man to St. Barnabus Hospital where he was pronounced dead. On Tuesday afternoon, police released a photo of man — identified as 51-year-old Jose Torres — they say is wanted for questioning in connection to the stabbing.
Torres is described to be Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 155 pounds and was last seen wearing a black shirt and dark pants.
