A man jumped in front of a train at a Lower Manhattan subway stop during the morning rush in an apparent suicide attempt, police said.
Several witnesses saw the unidentifed male leap in front of the train at the A/C Fulton Street station at about 8 a.m. Tuesday, according to authorities.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
The incident caused delays, suspensions and rerouting of A/C trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan and other headaches for commuters during the morning rush. Currently, those lines have resumed with delays, but some A trains will continue to make all local stops.
Just got to Nostrand Ave and it looks like a Summer Street Fair packed with people because the A/C train is not running @mta. #NoService pic.twitter.com/SNYhrjjsUX
