Man loses part of ear in fight on 6 train platform: Police

A fight that began on a 6 train Thursday night turned gory when one of the victims lost a portion of his ear, police said.

The brawl between two attackers and two other men migrated from the train car onto the platform at Lexington Avenue and East 110th Street in East Harlem around 8:45 p.m., reports said. A 35-year-old victim was slashed in the face, while a 57-year-old victim was punched several times in the ear.

One witness told the Daily News that the 35-year-old’s earlobe “was kind of hanging off.” Another said several other witnesses tried to detain the slasher, but he and the other attacker fled.

Police are still searching for the suspects, who are seen in the above surveillance.
