A 13-year-old boy was the victim of a Grand Larceny on Tuesday afternoon.

The boy crawled under an MTA turnstile to avoid payment at around 4 p.m. at the 168th St-Ft. Washington Ave stop in Washington Heights, when a man posing as a police officer stopped him and asked for his phone.

When the boy handed his HTC-One smartphone over, the man fled the scene.

The NYPD has released a photo of the suspect in question, and anyone with information on his identity is urged to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline.
