Man sought in Brooklyn elevator shooting

Police are looking for a gunman who walked into an elevator in Brooklyn and shot a man in the stomach on Dec. 30.

New surveillance video released on Thursday shows a man stepping inside the elevator of a Bedford-Stuyvesant building about 8 p.m. before pulling a gun from his right jacket pocket, and firing at least one shot into his 25-year-old victim, before running away from the six-story building at 940 Gates Ave.
The video shows shows the shooter wearing a blue jacket with orange shoulders and a grey hood and dark pants.
Paramedics rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital, where authorities said he is in stable condition and is expected to survive.
