A man is in critical but stable condition after he was stabbed in the back early Sunday morning in Washington Heights.
At around 1:30 am Sunday morning, an altercation broke out inside a grocery store located on 179th Street near Audubon Avenue, according to police. The victim was stabbed in the back with a large knife outside of the grocery store. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Harlem Hospital and is listed in critical condition, according to the Daily News. Police are trying to determine the cause of the fight.
