A Manhattan man suffered major injuries on Monday morning after being hit by an oncoming train at Midtown’s 33rd Street-Park Avenue station.

The man may have been attempting to commit suicide, with eyewitnesses telling police they saw him lying on the station’s northbound track as the 6 train pulled in.

After being transported to nearby Bellevue Hospital, the victim, believed to be in his 30s, remains in critical condition.

This is the latest incident to mar the MTA, after an unsuspecting Bronx man was pushed to his death as an oncoming train approached the Grand Concourse-East 167th Street station on Sunday afternoon.
