MTA weekend subway changes slated for March 20 – March 22

The MTA will implement weekend subway service changes throughout New York City’s transit system this weekend.

The service changes and advisories will go into effect late Friday, and will run through Sunday.

New fares and tolls will also go into effect Sunday.

1 -South Ferry-bound skip238 St, 231 St & 225 St – Uptown trains skip 103, 110, 116 and 125 Sts

4 -Brooklyn-bound run local from Grand Cntrl-42 St to Brooklyn Bridge.Woodlawn-bound skip 51, 68, 77, 96, 103, 110 and 116 Sts

5 -Bowling Green-bound trains run local from Grand Central-42 St to Brooklyn Bridge

6 -Brooklyn Bridge-bound trains skip Midtown Rd, Westchester Sq & Castle Hill Av – Buhre Av and Zerega Av Station closed for renovation?- Pelham Bay Park-bound skip 51, 68, 77, 96, 103, 110 & 116 Sts

7 -Flushing-bound skip 33, 40, 46, 52 and 69 Sts -No trains between Hunters Point Av and Times Sq-42 St (In effect Mar 21 – 23 from early Saturday to early Monday)

A – Inwood-bound trains skip Spring St, 23 St and 50 St -No trains between Rockaway Blvd and Lefferts Blvd Howard Beach/Far Rockaway-bound trains skip 88 St

C -168 St-bound trains skip Spring St, 23 St and 50 St

D -Norwood-boundrun local from 36 St to DeKalb Av -Trains make local stops at 23 St and 14 St in both directions

E -Coney Island-bound skip Lexington Av/63 St -Jamaica-bound skip 75 Av, Van Wyck Blvd and Sutphin Blvd

F -Jamaica Center-bound skip Spring St and 23 St

J -Weekend ser. Operates between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer, Queens and Chambers St, Manhattan.

M -Weekend and late night service operates between Middle Village-Metropolitan Av, Queens and Delancey St/Essex St, Manhattan and Myrtle Av, Brooklyn.

N -Astoria-bound trains run local from 59 St, Brooklyn to DeKalb Av

Q -Service is extended to Ditmars Blvd

S -42 Street Shuttle service operates overnight

SIR -Boarding change at Huguenot, Annadale and Eltingville Stations -Boarding change at Richmond Valley, Nassau and Atlantic Stations
