The funeral for “The Greatest” will undoubtedly be a “great” sendoff. So great that people are willing to buy tickets for an actual funeral on Craiglist.

The box office at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky opened at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday and just over an hour later Friday’s event was sold out. The arena has a capacity of 22,090.

The tickets to the event were free, butwith any sold-out event, there is a secondary market that pops up, and a search on Louisville’s Craigslist page Wednesday had dozens of opportunities to buy tickets.

One ad was offering tickets for $100 apiece, in the “lower arena,” with three tickets available.

People are seemingly willing to pay that fee and mroe as a Louisville Craigslist buyer posted, “I am seeking 1 ticket to Muhammad Ali Memorial Service. I am willing to pay $150.00.”

This was also posted on Craigslist Wednesday afternoon: “Re: Plz do not BUY tix to Ali Memorial – $1: The family of Muhammad Ali would rather see those seats sit empty rather than know some black-hearted whore profited from his death and disrespected his final wishes.”

In 2009, over a million people registered in an online lottery for tickets to Michael Jackson’s memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The tickets were originally free but they were going for thousands of dollars on the secondary market.

Ali’s memorial is set to include eulogies from the likes of former President Bill Clinton and comedian Billy Crystal. Jackson’s memorial included performances from the likes of Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey and John Mayer.
